1. I have not always been a Christian. Having what I have now in Christ, I could never go back.
2. I was on the front page of the Florida Times union at 5, sick, dressed like a cowboy. The Headline read: "Shot down by the sniffles gang"
3. I grew up in Yulee, Florida but have also lived as a civilian in, Atlanta and New Orleans.
4. I went to Parris Island as a recruit twice before graduating. Recruiter error cost me my 1ST month, on my 1ST trip.
5. I have had Stainless Steel Hardware installed in my body.
6. I am very qualified in Land Navigation.
7. I am a VERY good shooter with higher caliber rifles.
8. I am an avid gun collector who supports the 2ND Amendment
9. I am licensed to carry a concealed weapon in 32 States.
10. I've always wanted a career in Law Enforcement
11. I am an Electrician. Performing specialty installs.
12. I work for a family owned business for my Father.
13. I have been to every state between New Mexico and Georgia, Illinois and Florida.
14. My wife and I lived in New Orleans for two years POST Katrina.
15. My wife and I met each other 5 years before we became an item, spent 5 years together, then got LEGALLY married.
16. Marianne completes my life. I would be scattered all over if she didn't hold me together.
17. I have five tattoos.
18. I regret getting all of them except the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor on my Right Calf.
19. The Eagle, Globe and Anchor tattoo was done by an old friend free handed.
20. I was a DJ in my 20s. I have hundreds of Vinyl in my collection.
21. I'd love to learn to play my Bass Guitar. I'd love to have the patience to "try" learning.
22. I am a hunter, Fisherman, and all around outdoors type.
23. I love my 4x4 Truck.
24. Ironically, even though I am a Marine, I am a humble person.
25. I love Jesus Christ.

The Sovereignty Of God
I Think it is something that we all need to recognize and respect more. You see, a lot of times we disobey God and sin because we don't like the rules.
First off, we have got understand the difference between "Mercy" and "Grace".
Grace is not getting what we deserve for wrong doing, and then getting a gift. We are all sinners and our bodily death is a result of our sin. Though Thanks to the GRACE of God, we were sent a savior to wash our sins with His blood. This Savior Lived a sinless life and died for US! (being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus - ROMANS 3:24)
Mercy is not getting what we deserve for wrong doing.We need to fear this Loving and Merciful God. Most of all we need to follow his rules. (AND HIS MERCY IS UPON GENERATION AFTER GENERATION TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM - LUKE 1:50)
Look at it like this: A lot of times we find things in life we don't like. Like speed Limits. However if you were to get pulled over by a Police Officer for speeding, would you jump out of the car and start arguing and trying to state your case and make excuses? I wouldn't. So what makes us think that we can pony up to the Almighty God of the Universe?!
Bottom Line: being a Christian is really hard. We are met with challenges every day that test our faith. We just need to pray for the strength to make Christ's presence in our life evident by striving to be an ambassador of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. Remembering that our Father above is the Most High and Sovereign God.
